1. Overview

The Champion Portal homepage should immediately reinforce belonging, actionability, and celebration.

Directly rooted in the Verbal Style Guide and Core Narrative.

1.1 MVP Implementation (Phase 1.6.2)

The following items are implemented for the staging MVP dashboard:

• Welcome banner with profile completion prompt
• Community snapshot block (district + community counts + preview)
• “Alumni in Your District” preview (directory members only)
• District prompt when ZIP code is missing, linking to profile edit (location section)
• Link to browse the directory with district pre-filter applied
• District preview cards show degree + class year (fallback: “Belmont Alum”)
• Verification status callout shown during onboarding (pending only)
• Quick actions (edit profile, directory access, events/resources placeholders)
• Recent activity placeholder with CTAs to browse the directory and complete profile

Note: Community counts and district previews use champion_verified records only and respect district-based location privacy.
